Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services
Family Counseling Center provides residential, social setting detox, transitional, and outpatient counseling services for persons suffering from substance abuse addiction in a variety of treatment settings based upon individual needs. Service programs for adults and adolescents are available – both male and female. The agency also provides intensive weekend treatment programs for driving offenders SATOP as well as drug court programs. Family Counseling Center fully supports and encourages active participation in self-help and peer support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. |

Mental Health Services
Family Counseling Center provides a wide array of psychiatric services including outpatient therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation, physician services, medication management, support and therapeutic groups, 24 hour crisis intervention, and case management. In addition, Family Counseling Center manages the adult, Adolescent and Geriatric First Step psychiatric inpatient units for Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center . Family Counseling Center fully supports and encourages active participation in self-help and peer support groups such as Procovery. |

Integrated Co-Occuring Services
Family Counseling Center has specialized treatment programs for person who suffer from co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse problems. Integrated services include comprehensive evaluation, medication management, community support, community psychosocial rehabilitation, individual therapy and counseling, group therapy and counseling, group education, and 24 / 7 crisis intervention. Family Counseling Center fully supports and encourages active participation in self-help and peer support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Procovery and Double Trouble. |

Other behavioral healthcare services offered by Family Counseling Center are varied and many. Services include: compulsive gambling counseling, anger management therapeutic groups, crisis nursery placements, court services, safe driving course, speakers bureau and prevention programs. |

Family Counseling Center offers housing services for homeless persons who suffer from mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring disabilities. Safe, stable and affordable housing is an integral part of successful treatment over the long-run. Our goal is to provide community-based housing solutions so that clients with behavioral health disabilities can more effectively be served. |
