The Prevention/Intervention Program at Family Counseling Center provides alcohol and drug outpatient services to at-risk adolescents and their families.
Treatment Method
Intense in-home family therapy and individual counseling, recreational therapy, drug and alcohol education, drug screens for child and one (1) parent. 90-day program.
Eligibility
Male or female. Must exhibit emerging alcohol and drug related behaviors or problems, must be living in Dunklin, New Madrid, Mississippi, Scott, Cape or Stoddard Counties, must be willing to submit to drug screen (child and parent), cannot have previous alcohol or drug treatment, must be 10 to 17 years of age.
Financial Responsibility
Service is free of charge to those who meet eligibility.
