Biography
Nancy Blackshare has demonstrated her commitment to providing the highest quality of clinical services throughout her 26 years at FCC Behavioral Health. Nancy is the Clinical Officer for Mental Health Services.

As the Clinical Officer for the Mental Health Services, she is responsible for the supervision and leadership of clinical staff assigned as Directors of Mental Health programs. Programs that include: Adult and Youth Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Intensive Residential Treatment Services, Healthcare Home, Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics, and Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders. She is responsible for the effective clinical management of programs to assure quality, evidence-based care to those served. Nancy ensures that the vision and mission of the agency are upheld and that the staff and facility operate within the guidelines of policy and procedure and adhere to the Department of Behavioral Health and CARF Standards. Nancy represents FCC on the Missouri Coalition for Community Behavioral Healthcare's Integrated Behavioral Health Council.

Nancy obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1987 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She also earned her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Arkansas State University. Nancy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and maintains her leadership and clinical competencies through participation in regional, state and national seminars focused on current behavioral healthcare issues and future trends.

She began her career in 1989 as a counselor at Safe Harbor, an adolescent residential substance use disorder program. In 1991, she started working at FCC Behavioral Health. She has served in a leadership role as a program director and clinical director. Nancy has helped shape the organizations clinical programs to meet the need of the individuals we serve at FCC. She continually strives to improve the continuum of care needed to enhance the quality of life for those that we serve.
